Ah, October's Glorious Autumnal Splendor! Fiery
bursts of Orange Sunsets, spicy smokey nights perfuming bewitching starlit
skies! Oh the changing of Season's, Magic and Reverence walk with hand's
entwined, stealing kisses on Moonlit lanes. Alchemists and Minstrels singing
haunting lyrics, hiding like nymphs in the mossy deep ochre
woods, painted faces, dancing leaves in Sacred Metamorphosis! October How I Love
Thee!
No compass, no flashlight or fairy dust to leave behind a trail for finding my way back to what all feels familiar; But then again, maybe this was the point! Fertility is sometimes ushered in by plowing and tilling, ridding old established patterns sometimes retarding your progress, thus creating new ground for new vitality and cultivations that bring you evolving and replenishment. Whoosh, sometimes there can be a little sting involved. So for now let's merge with unpredictability( Imagine sour pinched faces here) that sometimes show up on our doorsteps without introduction, sweeps us up, and takes us off like in the Charles Dickens tales while we are asking ourselves, "Now which ghost are you supposed to represent!"? "And where are we going! I have places to be and people to see", and then there is just sky, and you praying to reach the ground again as the clouds are winking by your forehead.
If you are new to my blog I hope you will continue to take the time to come and share some time with me and rediscover, and hopefully walk away into your busy days feeling a bit more reintegrated, or at the very least, a bit more inspired and challenged to take a few steps back, and view the world from a multi dimensional point of view. It is not all about being merely mortal. OK Cerebrals, just bare with me here! ( Yes, as a Writer, I reserve the Right To Make Up an Occasional Word), It is after all far from it. Even the most Enlightened should in my own humble opinion, consider themselves a novice when we are embarking on explorations and seeking the Divine, and the multitude of some of the greatest unearthed mysteries that remain hidden in the recesses of both our Universe, and other dimensions that man has yet to find and establish connections with. Now I am not talking about becoming a space cadet, or even that we should leave logic in our studies tucked away, but at least humor me in that there are certainly areas where we limit ourselves and humanity, by not being receptive to holy moments that sometimes occur, and we don't even notice that something deeply meaningful has just touched our lives as we rush and hurry in our mind grinding routines with our check list pages swinging in the winds as we turn the pages and run into the last bits of daylight.
Meanwhile the Sun heads out for the night, grabs his jacket and doesn't look back because He is definitely done with the day and needs his rest. And in regards to the Celestials, they know the lines in the sands, it's practically omnipotence to them, and they are finely attuned with Divine order. They keep their pocket watches shiny as starlight. While my manuscript is in it's culmination stages, with searches for illustrators that parallel my work, I will start including some of my work on this blog so be sure to check back here as I will sprinkle in some excerpts a bit here and there, to add an element of enchantment to spice up your mind, and to get us all thinking on higher levels.
Life is so much more than the mundane, and so much more than all of the stresses that try to envelope us and steal away the magic that any given moment can actually bestow. Even in some of our greatest challenges we do have Guardians walking with us. Though we may not feel an element of comfort caressing our burdened hearts, and our minds are over ridden, when you feel you just may self implode, just stop in mid stride and create a moment of absolute stillness. Deep Breaths.. Softer heartbeats..
In that moment, imagine a softly lit center point within you, inviting, soothing, comforting and completely free of strife. Take some very deep breaths and think of your most beautiful favorite color surrounding you like a soft cloud, like a new Mother embracing and holding her new infant. Let this Ethereal light of hue soothe you all the way down to your very Soul. You will in these moments be able to find your essence, remain in this Sacred space with your deep breaths, imagining a fragrance so serene that your whole mind, body and emotions are just swept into a warm and gentle up lifting inner realm of calm. And remember, you can go there at any time you need this warm and gentle refuge.
It is all yours, slip into your imagination and imagine yourself in communion with yourself. You are an eternal and Beautiful Being, you came into this world undefiled, innocent, and the introduction to this mortal world and all that can accompany it, needn't cause you to loose your Divine connection neither with God, or with yourself. Yes sometimes it feels impossible to find a free breath, so just like you take time to make a To Do list, make time to find this inner sanctuary, to become still, take some deep breaths, imbibe those soft Ethereal colors and scents that are so relaxing, and so individually soothing, that you feel you are connected to the Holy ones. You know you can be, it is a choice once you learn how to go there, once you know that the golden key lies in your own mind within your own reach in this very moment.
As for myself I take a down feather blanket with me, a teddy bear softer than the biggest Cotton ball this side of heaven, and lots of softly scented sensuous candles... by the time I leave I am intoxicated and feel like a Deva so alluring, and so completely attuned, that the troubles on the doorsteps take a step back when they see me coming and I can hear them all chattering.. "Lord, She's been there again!" Laughing out loud here, but seriously try this sometime and see if your world feels just a little more light weight and your prayers and meditations come through more in the Golden Light of gentle whispers instead of pleas of desperate emotions!
